Draught at Asher. Pours clear amber with a moderate, foamy white head, good retention and great lacing. Aroma is medium sweet caramel malt with light pine and earthy hops and light fruity esters. Flavor is low malt with a moderate hop bitterness, light soap, and low fruity esters. Medium-light body, dry finish, and moderate carbonation.

draft. hazed amber with a small tan head. sweet toasty caramel malt with dense and creamy carbonation. green, rough, raw and young tasting. stewed bitter greens, from spicy raw arugula to celery beef stew to actual hops. almost punishing in its rawness. erratic and sweet and bitter.

Pours a nice amber color, thin head. Malts flavor, very smooth. Not a ton if flavor, its a little bland. A good beer, not amazing.

Pours gold with light foam, looks more like an IPA than an amber. Smells of cherry blossoms and light hops. Tastes of cherry wood and strawberries with light bitterness from the hops and a bit of sweetness that doesn’t seem to come directly from the excess of malts in many ambers.

Tap at brewery. Clear rust orange colored body with an off white colored head. Slightly bitter amber malty aroma- pretty basic. Slightly bitter flavor with amber malts. This could be classified as a weak ESB or a red ale. Definitely more bitter than other amber ales but still drinkable. Ok.

Draft at Brewers Rendezvous 7/10/10. Pours a thick lasting white head, over a slightly hazy amber (SRM 7) body.....nose is floral, with honey, cereal....taste is sweet malt to start, then mild hop bitterness, finishing floral with light tones of strawberry and raspberry....mouth feel is light of medium, carbonation medium. This is an interesting Amber Ale. I discussed ingredients with the brewer and they were fairly standard except for the hops which were from New Zealand. I think that explains the interesting aromas and flavors. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6

Pours a translucent amber with a creamy off white head. ARoma is very light. Flavor is a bit better and I’m getting some citrus hops meet caramel malt. But nothing too amazing going on here.

On tap at Hopmemade Liquids and Soliuds poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of carmel, light tyoffee and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light toffee with a smooth dry mal;ty finish.

Growler from the brewery thanks to some friends. Like a light brown ale actually. Very malty with some cool woody and nutty notes. Not bad at all. Happy to taste this after trying their IIPA.
