bomber. Mine’s labeled "Escape Artist" w/ pad lock & chain art. Solid pale ale, nothing super special, but still packs plenty of hops. Maybe a little old but $2 bomber, yessir!.

4oz on tap at the brewery. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves solid, thicker lace. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Kind of slick. Pretty impressive appearance and texture. Awesome grapefruit citrus, moderate zest, moderate-plus bitter... Moderate sweet. Great grapefruit hop, nice citrus, good rich malt. A fantastic hoppy pale ale. Really dig this. Very tasty.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A dark golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some citrus and pine. The flavor is only slightly bitter with some lemons and caramel. This is more english than apa but a good session beer nonetheless.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sampler at Asheville Brewing’s Merrimon Avenuey location under "Asheville Excape Artist ESP" alias. Cloudy amber hue, small white head that mostly lasted with good lacing, mild to moderate hoppy aroma with hint of spice, light body, slightly syrupy texture, moderate bittersweet flavor with initial taste of sweetness with sugar and rock candy notes, followed by a fine hoppiness. Even though something seemed somewhat off in the finish, this is still an enjoyable beer. Tasted on July 7, 2012.
