COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perfect Day is a ridiculously delicious, supremely drinkable beer that goes down like a session style pale but packs the hop flavor of a big IPA; which it is. ... El Dorado, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops give Perfect Day flavors and aromas of citrus and fruits. There is also a distinct aroma and flavor of white grapes that come from the very unique Nelson Sauvin hops. We dry hopped Perfect Day with equal parts El Dorado and Citra for extra hoppy perfection. Last but not least a touch of Rye malt was used to add a subtle complexity and to compliment all of that hop flavor.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2014 Expected to like it more- bit of an off/ overly bitter finish to me. Pours on the orange side of yellow., Nose is citrus and tropical (citra) with some hints of white wine. Taste is fairly balanced with a dank feel. Definitely hoppy as advertised. Could be too much sweetness in the hops for me between tropical notes of citra and sweetness of El Dorado. Somewhat tempered by Nelson Sauvin. Not my favorite IPA. Will try again to like it more. Attempt #2. On tap at Buffalo Nickel. Better than I remembered. Decently balanced- nice finish to it. Definitely lives up to the IPA label. Not outstanding, but pretty darn good.

Not seeing the 96’s here - it was pretty nice, and went well with pizza, but was nothing that stood out and ,ade you take notice. Fruit forward and medium to light for the style.

Pale golden with a thin head. Floral and citrus on the nose. Hop flavor is well moderated and the finish is balanced. Nice.

Draft sample at their brewpub, pale golden color with white head. Aroma notes of huge grapefruit, citrus and some grass. Taste adds citrus zest, pine and some tropical/dank notes. Light-medium body, moderate-low carbonation, dry, sticky with lingering citrus finish. Very grapefruit strong IPA.

On tap at Asheville Pizza and Brewing. Perfect Day is a lighter golden pour with a moderate amount of small white bubbles. The nose is a nice blend of citrus and evergreen hop aromas. The taste is light citrus with some sweet malt presence. Body is medium and lively. Pleasant finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, mild hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
