BossHossBikes (129), Tennessee, USA Sep 24, 2007 Draught at brewpub. Pour is a very dark ruby with a light tan head. I can’t say much about the aroma. I have difficulty picking out the aroma of beers in restaurant/bars. I did notice some cocoa though. The taste of of cocoa, oatmeal, coffee, and some roasty notes. The finish made the cocoa burst a little more. This was decent.
dolemite77 (183), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Nov 21, 2008 11/17/08, tap at the Coxe Ave. location of APBC. Pours like a standard porter, looks a bit thin. Flavor is hard roasted malts. Not a great porter, but palatable. Would be better if it didn’t seem so watery.
