On tap at the Orange Peel. Hazy medium orange pour, nicely carbonated. Tea-like hops in the nose, fairly one-dimensional and dry but that’s fine for a nicely sessionable brew during a long evening. Full bodied, crisp mouthfeel. As the nose suggest, mostly sharp and grassy. But good for what it is.

Beer 2 Asheville trip. I actually think this was more of a Kolsch. Pale gold, aroma of malt, lightly honey in character, and faint pear. Flavor is a match. Dry, clean finish. Enough bitterness to balance. Nicely done. Should point out this one was one of my wife’s favorites of the entire trip, and she tends to be pretty picky about beers like this.
