2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tasted on 8/6/12 from a 12oz can purchased at Bruisin’ Ales. Pours clear brassy orange with a thick off-white head that slowly recedes to thick, messy lace. The nose is light corny malt with a touch of almost soda-like lemon and lime, with spicy and herbal noble-style hops. The flavor is dry corny malt with the same spicy and herbal hops from the nose. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long intensely bitter and herbal hops finish.

12oz Can to glass at Edison. Golden clear. Grain and earthy kinda of crappy smell. First sip I hated it. Grew on me a little as I got through it. Just a pretty standard boring beer. At least it's not a miller lite I guess

12oz can, big thanks to Alicia M for sharing! Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Dot or two of lace. Kind of a sweet, corn, caramel malt nose. Light body. Smooth, kind of crisp carbonation. Lightly dry. Aroma is corn, bread, caramel, light spicy peppery hop. Pretty decent balance to it, impressive flavor for a 3% beer. Light to moderate bitter taste, light sweet, more dry taste. Pretty impressive easy-drinking lager. Great flavor for how incredibly light this is. Closest thing I have to a light lager like this in Cincinnati is Cisco’s Sankaty Light, and this is way better than that. Much better malt balance, good full flavor to it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 Pours a nice clear golden with a decent white head. Aroma is crisp and malty with a fruity undertone. Crisp flavor is mainly malty, has some fruity hint and a hoppy bitter underpinning. Texture is lively if not firm. Rocket to this brewpub if you’d like one.

Had from a can during asheville pub cycle. First sip was cold
And decent. Things went downhill as it warmed up.
Just meh. Not my style of beer but not even good for a lager.
Would not buy again. Sort of crisp, but nothing to it

Pours golden with some white head. Nose is straw and light malty nose. Slightly astringent and slightly bitter. Fair. Doesn’t seem too refined.

Hint of malt with a copper and light hoppy back end. Average lager that doesn’t try to do too much and succeeds at doing so.

On tap at the Orange Peel. Hazy medium orange pour, nicely carbonated. Tea-like hops in the nose, fairly one-dimensional and dry but that’s fine for a nicely sessionable brew during a long evening. Full bodied, crisp mouthfeel. As the nose suggest, mostly sharp and grassy. But good for what it is.
