2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear orange with a white whispery head. Grapefruit is prevalent in aftertaste. Got some pucker bitter beer face aftertaste. The mouthfeel is nice and drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden orange from the can with pillowy off-white head that dissipates to leave little to no lacing. Aroma of fresh hops, earthy, piney, a hint of citrus, with some caramel and pale malt back. Taste follows, malt comes through more, as well as the earthiness, clean bitter finish that is pretty quick to leave. Meh, alright.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
From tap. Pours a hazy straw color. Aroma was more pine then fruity for the hops. Slight sweetness. Taste was caramel malt, bread and hops. A little too much bittering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beer #4 Asheville trip. Basically, this is a textbook American IPA. Just read the BJCP style guidelines, and there it is. Deep gold orange appearance, well balanced mix of malts and citrus and pine oriented hops. Flavor and aroma match. Pleasant. If it had been a bit more citric than piney, I probably would have rated it higher. Very nicely constructed beer.

Can into a Lager glass. Pour is a light honey with a fine head. Aroma is a nice hop. Taste is a good bitter with light malt. Finish is a warm bitter. A good ipa, I wish it was in a bottle.

Well balanced, floral aroma, easy finish for an IPA. Asheville’s best IPA by far. Love it, love it, love it!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can poured a hazy gold with lasting off white head. Aromas of floral notes, orange, passion fruit, grapefruit zest and tangerine. Palate was light bodied and smoth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, orange, pnk grapefruit and light passion fruit with a smooth dry lightly biter lingering fruity finish.
