3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Spent the weekend backpacking the Art Loeb Trail. Couldn’t leave Brevard without picking up some local North Carolina stuff. Unfortunately and inexplicably all the local beer stores appeared to be closed on Sundays. Enjoyed this beer upon my return while strolling through Grant Park. Poured a hazy amber with good head and lacing. Pleasant aroma, but the flavor notes were to0 grassy/grainy and too bitter to be something I would seek out. Bomber - Ingles Supermarket - Brevard, NC

Wow. Have you ever heard of the saying "if something is too good to be true, it probably is"? THIS is the exception

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty good IPA here. I bought a sixer for the road as I was not a resident and it is still decent in cans.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden amber with a forever 3/4" head and thick sheets of lace. Full malty taste is immediately countered by light-medium pine hops. The hops win out at the finish, leaving a long bitter residue. Very drinkable, not filling, especially good with light fare. Recommended.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Pours a clear deep gold with a light tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a combination of pine and light citrus and an earthy grain backing. Flavor has earhy grains and pine with a good amount of earthiness.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear orange with a white whispery head. Grapefruit is prevalent in aftertaste. Got some pucker bitter beer face aftertaste. The mouthfeel is nice and drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden orange from the can with pillowy off-white head that dissipates to leave little to no lacing. Aroma of fresh hops, earthy, piney, a hint of citrus, with some caramel and pale malt back. Taste follows, malt comes through more, as well as the earthiness, clean bitter finish that is pretty quick to leave. Meh, alright.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
From tap. Pours a hazy straw color. Aroma was more pine then fruity for the hops. Slight sweetness. Taste was caramel malt, bread and hops. A little too much bittering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beer #4 Asheville trip. Basically, this is a textbook American IPA. Just read the BJCP style guidelines, and there it is. Deep gold orange appearance, well balanced mix of malts and citrus and pine oriented hops. Flavor and aroma match. Pleasant. If it had been a bit more citric than piney, I probably would have rated it higher. Very nicely constructed beer.
