COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The destroyer, the creator, the benefactor. Shiva is all these things. We set out to create an IPA that anyone can enjoy, and we think we succeeded. As the flagship beer in our lineup, we’ve yet to encounter a soul who believes contrary. A crisp, citrusy Indian Pale Ale with a light color, Shiva will destroy all your preconceptions of an IPA. A transcendentally simple malt bill accents a generous helping of Columbus hops, lending an intense floral aroma with hints of grapefruit and a pleasant bittering quality. Your palette will be lifted to higher planes of consciousness with a bittersweet finish.

Can poured a hazy gold with lasting off white head. Aromas of floral notes, orange, passion fruit, grapefruit zest and tangerine. Palate was light bodied and smoth with a dry finish. BeerandBlues2 (7421) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - SEP 12, 2005
Draught at 11th Southern Brewers Festival in Chattanooga. Pours golden hay with a small frothy off-white head. Floral hop fruity malt aroma. Rind and pine resinous citrus hop and very acidic flavor diminishes the sweet malt character that is behind it all. Medium and light bodeid clean refreshing palate.

Dogbrick (6065) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. This beer is an orange-amber color with a thin and creamy white head. Strings of lacing. Aroma of hops and citrus. Light to medium body with a mildly bitter citrusy hops character with some grassy and malty notes. The finish is hoppy with a fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

Ibrew2or3 (5777) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 26, 2010
Bomber pours clear deep gold with off white head. The aroma is spicy, earthy and nearly tart citrus hops with a faint sense of malt roast in the background. The taste is nice and refreshing going from spicy hops and bitter citrus to a touch of malt and graininess by about midway. I get a sense of earthy hops from front to back too. Into the finish the bitter citrus and spicy hops take over completely and fade away deep into the after taste. Nice IPA.

Straw pale gold with sticky white lacing and a tiny cap of head. The aroma is very fresh & juicy with some bright C hops. The flavor is a little less pronounced but smooth & creamy. Finishes bittersweet with a dry mouth feel.
