Cask@GBBF. Deep amber color, decent off-white head. Woody hoppy aroma. Light palate. Light woody hoppyness, some caramel. Very standard, probably ok with food.

Cask, Loughborough Fest 08. Hazy amber with a small head. Aromas are fruity with pear and citrus. Quite damp and lacking depth. Flavours are toffee malts with a light woodiness. Spritzy citrus with a dry, hoppy finish. Average.

Cask conditioned at The Cross Keys, Belper, 17-01-08 Poured amber in colour with great clarity and a tiny rim of bubbles for the head, it looked great. A slightly sulphourous nose leads to a wonderful fruit and toffee combination in the mouth, a very good beer.

Cask conditioned at The Old Poets Corner, Ashover, Derbys. Amber to brown with white head. This is a top notch session bitter, dry with a lingering maltiness, lightly but freshly hopped giving a fragrant lasting bitterness on the finish. lovely stuff.
