COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ashridge Sparkling Vintage Cider is an exciting new drink. By using the traditional method, or “méthode champenoise” (as of Champagne), an elegant dry, fully sparkling drink is produced. It retains delicious apple aromas and flavours, within a refreshing crisp sparkle.

Bottle (2003 vintage) shared with jerc & mabel - Dec 22/08. Bright golden with a small white head. Aroma of apples, honey and mild funk with a slight cheese note. Initial flavour of sweet apple turns tart in the middle, before moving into a bone dry finish. Interesting and very refreshing.

[1920-20081222] 750mL bottle. Honeyed apples aroma, lots of apples. Clear, light amber orange body with quick white bubbles. Dry and tart apple sauce flavour has mild wood with a dry wood finish. Bubbly super dry medium body. Fair, particularly dry.

2008-12-22. Crisp golden yellow body with a tiny fizzy foam that fades away. Dry musty aroma, light funk and apple barrel. (7+) Similar flavour leaves a dry overall impression, dry fruit and apples. Alcohol in the finish amplifies the dryness. Lightly musty/funky apples. (6+) Average palate. Decent cider but just a touch too dry for me, still nice overall. 2003 Vintage bottle shared by GregClow.
