Growler from the brewery. Golden pour, small white head. Light grassy hops, with some subtle cardamon, and cinnamon. Thin mouth feel, good carb. The finish is peppery with some good spicing. Lots of baking spices, but they aren’t over powering. Decent.

cloudy pale golden pour with a small white head, some retention and lacing. peppermint, pepper, faint maltiness - some pils and wheat, light fruitiness - red fruitiness, maybe some cranberries, other spices - never overwhelming, bit of citrus but mostly lime, herbal and grassy. lively carbonation, light body - tad watery - who would have guessed for a christmas ale, grassy-spicy-peppermint finish. a sessionable x-mas ale that i enjoyed. talk about ackward.

Metalchopz (3076) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 19, 2013
Pours a slight hazed golden colour with a white creamy head, average retention and decent lacing. Aromas of cinnamon with orange notes. Mild spicy taste (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger) with some light grain that lingers. Hints of soapy hops in the finish. A nice milder version of a Christmas Ale that goes down nicely, but nothing too crazy. Good for beginners, for the style.

Pretty light. Some light cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Pours cloudy light orange with good head and lacing. Finishes a little sour and a little sweet. Watery consistency, light palate. Tap at Brother’s Beer bistro.

Tap at Cat. Pours cloudy straw with a light head and little lacing. Notes of peach, cereal and yeast. Sweet with some light hop in the finish. Light body with lively carbonation.

probstblueribbon (3717) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 28, 2012
Pint at Cat. Hazy golden with a fair white head. Bold, odd lemon lime, keffir lime, almost perfumed, ginger, clove, fruity, spicy, zingy. Medium body and moderate effervescence. More of that odd lemon-lime, perfumed, estery, dish soap, ginger and plenty of cinnamon, not for me; dry with limited bitterness and a zesty, spicy, ginger, cinnamon, lemony finish.

Lubiere (12878) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2011
A pale golden beer with a thin white head. In aroma, buttery malt with cinnamon and nutmeg. In mouth, a sweet creamy mix of cinnamon, creamed corn, very sweet and cloying. On tap at Patty’s, Dec. 10 2011.
