Draught at Paddy’s, Ottawa, August 18. Pours a clear bubbly golden-orange with an average size creamy white head. Aroma of light resiny, oily hops, mild for the style, along with bready malt -- mild but nice. Flavour of resiny hops and bready malt, simple but pleasant. Medium bodied. Pretty good, it’s no "hopstravagansa" but it’s a decent beer.

Pint at Quinn’s. 16AU12. Clear deep golden with a thin white head. Fruity, nice biscuit malts, toasty, some earthy, floral hops, a little resinous, not bad but not hop crazy. Medium body and effervescence. Decently fruity, some caramel, reasonable fruity, floral hops, decent fruity maltiness, bordering on cloying sweetness; off-dry with reasonable bitterness. Doesn’t live up to the name.

Pours amber-orange with a nice white head and lots of lacing. Not much coming from the nose. In the mouth I’m getting solid malth with a nice almost grapfruit balance with a medium bitter finish. Nice enough, but pretty simple brew.

A golden IPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a light biscuit malt with light corn notes, berries and faint hops. In mouth, a sweet buttery malt with butterscotch, English hops, reminiscent of St. Ambroise when its very buttery. On tap at Wellington Gastropub, June 19, 2012.

Enjoyed at Quinn’s Ale house. Pours a clean golden colour with a little amber hue. The head is white and some soapy lacing is left. Mild fresh hop scent with caramel and grain notes. The mouthfeel is lightly dry in the finish. Again, mild bitterness from the hop in the taste, with caramel malt in the background. Decent, not over-hoppy, brew.
