Translation: Hot Brunette. Strong dark beer. Rich brown to deep amber beer with a complex yet balanced flavor, combines warmth and sweetness with rounded mouthfeel and "curiousity". The beer is being aged for several months before going on market.

Courtesy of DSG, thanx Barak!
The beer in the glass is dark ruby red with a beautiful head. It smells intensely malty and roasty, very caramelly, slightly bready. Starts very caramelly-malty, bready, sweet and alcoholic in the background. The middle part is very caramelly, nutty and bready, with a massive malt body. Goes into an alcoholic-warming, very malty and bready finish!

Bottle. Heavy, dark brown, no foam. Caramel and Chocolate aroma, sweetish taste with an abrupt finish. pretty decent, but not too exciting.

Hazy amber with a thin head. Estery, alcoholic aroma with a light raisiny, fruity character. Soft body with light acidity. Again, a mix of raisiny fruitiness and esters on the palate. OK, not terribly refined or exciting but functional.

Bottle. Semi-opaque reddish brown with lasting head and delicate lace. Aroma of drunken fruit bread and maraschino. Meaty palate with big, soft carbonation probably complements to Belgian yeast. Can taste the alcohol but it’s fairly well-integrated with the bready malts and dried fruits. Finishes as if with fig and plum schnaps. Certainly hot, and brunette, and not bad.

Bottle: yeast, malt, honey, caramel, alcohol. some spice, cinnamon, allspice, some sourness in the finish, a bit rough around the egdes, but quite nice actually.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2010 Bottle. Dark and quite opaque brown with a big bubbly beige head. Aroma of malt, dark fruits(mostly plums and raisins), caramelized brown sugar, yeast, some spiciness and light alcohol notes. Sweet caramelly flavor with malt, dried fruits, light berries notes and a dry, quite spicy, finish with some warming alcohol. Medium-full body. A decent Belgian.

0.33L bottle, stable creamy moca head, dark brown colour but with some lighter taints. Aromas of wood, vanila, cola and hints of roasted coffe and spices in the back. Flavours roasted coffee, wood, caramel and bready sourness. Strong coffe bitterness which is dominant and agressive at first but mellows and blends in as the beer warms up. Very good.
