2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2005 Bottled. Quite a misearble sight upon pouring: Pale yellow, a mere dozen or so of bubbles tries in vain to form a head, but of course fails to do so. Neutral aroma. Sweetish with clean rounded mouthfeel where the limited carbonation creates an almost velvetty sensation. Fruity with notes of melon. Low bitterness. This is not really every day industrial lager stuff, and it’s actually quite refreshing, and almost meadlike with it’s soothing fruitiness and complte lack of malt flavour.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pretty similar to the Harar, this one does not have much body or character. Some malt, some hops, just nothing special.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. The aroma reminds me of a store room filled with old, buckets of paint. Some pale malts and fruityness too. The flavor has the same paint store room feeling, but is more on the fruity and malty side. Medium body with some carbonation, semi-sweetish. My 1.5 rating is probably too high, as this was a really shitty beer. 130216
