Chewy and earthy with a rustic quality, and an extra astringency from the tannins.

Clear, pale straw colour. Refreshing apples with a touch of sweathy gym socks and berries in aroma. Fine and refreshing taste. Fine aftertaste. Good drinkability.

Pint at Blackfriars good aroma sweet. Apple. Little yeasty. Clean pale gold color no real head our lace. Sweet flavor. Light body thin sticky mouthfeel. Sweet dry finish. It’s fine. Just trying a few while on this trip flavor best part for me. Aroma was not as interesting.

Bottle at home. As I nearly always say when I rate a cider, I know even less about cider than I do about beer. I enjoyed this one. Clear light gold with a small white head. Sugary apples, caramel and toffee apple, apples and stuff, sweetish finish. Worked for me.

Bottle from Tesco. Pale golden cider with a green tint. Aroma of faint freshly pressed apples. Taste is dry tart apple with some pulp and a little wet wood. Decent.

500ml bottle. Clear yellow gold colour, foam white head that dissipates away and aroma of sourish apple & slight barnyard. Sweetish apple flavour with some tartness and tannins. Light to medium body, low carbonation, dry bittersweet finish. Quite OK.

Draft at Alla Spina - sample. Pours a clean light gold with thin, quickly dissipating white head. Nose of apple, citrus. Medium body. Light carbonation with a pretty dry finish. Not bad for a cider.

A bit weird. Kind of like a half white wine half cider. Very vinous with vibrant apples. Like Sauv and sparkling apple juice. Solid

Bottle at home. Clear light blond colour, not much head. Aroma is bit weird, bread, touch of apples, quite boozy. Taste is similar, apple and booze, bit of minerals, bit of plastic. Spritzy. Should probably have some nicer cider.
