Pours yellow with a quickly receding white head. Notes of tart apple, malic acid, light champagne and white grape. Thin bodied with light carbonation. Dry and bubbly gives this a champagne-like texture. Yum.

No head, but quite some carbonation in a fully golden bright drink. Old, grainstored and shrivelled apples of the finest farmyard quality. Sweet nose with just that pinch of sourness that makes it great. Sweet taste, and here it is just a tad too much. Liqueurish, and luxurious all the same. Alcoholic MF, near dry-out effect. Very good aged cider, but I’ll take the cask varieties anytime.

From a 500 ml. shaped, embossed bottle with a best before date on cap, Apr.07.
Poured a clear reddish golden with a small foamy white head that settled into a fine lacing, a good looking cider.
Aromas of fresh apples and that squeezed cider vinegary.
Proper carbonation for a cider, adds a nice briskness and a smooth medium bodied mouthfeel.
Tastes of fresh pressed apples, a tad sour, a subtle earthy honey, a little sweet cider vinegary and a crisp apple finish.
A nice and tasting cider, well worth trying.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kinz (2694) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - AUG 8, 2008
Pale yellow, clear. Aroma is apple and some faint funk, a bit of cheese. Flavor is apple, some woodsy notes, a bit of cheese, and some sour notes. A bit of aspirin springs up oddly on the finish. I rather liked this, but it was quite unusual. Sort of like a cross between a clean American cider and the wild French ciders.
