dcswirl (13), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2008 Had this at Winking Lizard’s after seeing it on the menu, thinking they had no ciders on their menu. I must say I was very disappointed. Very plain, kind of boring really. Very oaky flavor to start, with a very weak semi sweet finish. Not something I will order again. papajohn (978), San Diego, California, USA May 2, 2008 Bottle from BevMo: Pale chardonnay color with an initian small white head of foam that faded quickly. Aroma is apple and maybe some oak. Flavor starts light green apple with a touch of white wine and a hint of wood. Light body is dry with light champange like carbonation. idbowman82 (63), Painesville, Ohio, USA May 1, 2008 Ugh. Ciders have their place, surely...but this one is so blase and boring that it really isn’t worth it.
The pour is almost clear with a slight green/yellow tint and lots of apparent carbonation. Aroma is sweetly apple with a very simple taste of faint sour apple. Very much like a boring (cheap) apple infused champagne...but not in a good way. There are good ciders out there--this is not one of them. the6thnitemare (15), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 1, 2008 This one caught me off guard on first taste. I don’t typically drink ciders. This one has a wonderful aroma of apples, it is almost completely transparent, it looks crisp and it is crisp. Highly carbonated. It is like drinking a glass of apple champagne. After having this I look forward to trying other ciders. A delightful experience. Magjayran (1088), Durham, North Carolina, USA Apr 25, 2008 Giving this one a chance. Pours almost completely clear. Doesn’t look appealing. Apple aroma with noticeable yeast. Plain apple flavor with a champagne finish.
