COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 500ml bottles marked 2010 Vintage.
Aspall’s first new cyder in 4 years. Imperial is created from a 90 year old recipe refined for modern tastes, using apples from the 2010’s harvest with muscovado sugar to give it a sweet and mellow finish.

Bottle from sainsburys. Golden amber cider. Aroma of musty apples. Taste is apple juice, medium dry, some wood and a hint of caramel. Soft carbonation with a little oil texture. Good stuff.

It has a sour aroma about it which is why I have given it a higher rating. Not a sweeter cider but if you like a cider, try it.

Fancy bottle in a truncated weizen glass - nose is cider. Sip adds brut champagne, apples, dust and booze. Sweet and sour. Boozy.

500ml bottle. Clear deep golden colour, shortlived foamy white head and aroma of sourish apple, wood, leather, alcohol. Taste is oaky, bittersweet apple, spice, woody & tart. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Astor Wines. $7.99ish. Poured into a pint.
Pale iced tea. Clear. Still. Sleek.
Stuffy, hot, boozy scent, Sour wood. Cheap whiskey. Suspect stink & sweat.
Taste is stiff & bittersweet. Lots of wood, red apples, & rubbing alcohol. Not carbonated. Did I mention that assy sweat from before? Leaving it alone to air out gets rid of a bit of that BO, but it does nothing for the rest of the brew.
Harsh & ugly. This is bad.

From bottle at 2013 Cider Summit PDX. Clear golden color. Aroma of tart and sweet apples. Taste is very sweet apple; may be too sweet for others. Nice spiced roasted apple finish.

Pours a dark straw yellow. Hints of apple on the nose but not too strong. Taste is a smoother and malty like apple taste that tends more to apple juice than cider. Likely due to some of the sugar added. Nice and satisfying though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml brown bottle, 2011 vintage, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.2%. Deep golden colour, pours sparkling with a low and short-lived white head. Strong aroma of cider apples, oak and sulphites. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Crisp and medium dry flavour of bittersweet cider apples, notes of oak, hints of sulphites. Not bad at all.
