Sampled on 3/28/2011. This cider pours a light gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small head. The aroma is apples, some wood and a touch of chardonnay. Medium bodied cider. Apples are medium sweet with some wood and a touch of chardonnay. Good carbonation. Mostly dry with a slightly tart finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

Bottle pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma shows notes of red/gold apples and a hint of bandaid. Flavor shows the same with a definate cider/cooked apple note. Overall body is moderate, viscous and sweet with some balancing acidity.

500 ml bottle sampled at 2010 NFB&WF at Martha Clara Vineyard. Pours a clear pale gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is apples and just a bit tart. The flavor is fresh apples, noticeably sweeter than their Dry, which I think brings out more of the fresh apple flavor. Effervescent and bright on the palate. An enjoyable cider.

Come closer. Closer. Closer. Now, let me tell you a little about the Aspall Medium Cider. Well, I had the whole bottle, there’s always that! Sweetness (medium) and with a bolt of vibrant tartness. Complimented a belligerent night of rolling around on the floor while watching Pan’s Labyrinth and giving a crackling running commentary. Not the best movie around, but I finished the whole movie, there’s always that!

(500ml bottle) Pours a transparent pale yellow body. Aroma of apple, band-aid, and chardonnay grapes. Flavor of sweet apple, earth, Chloraseptic®, and band-aid with a somewhat dry finish.

(500ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) very pale yellow, decent bubbles. Nose of vinegar, tart apple, and sugar. Taste is lightly tart, sugar, stale apples with a medium body and nice carbonation.

Light yellow with a small white head. Aroma is apples with some light tartness. More apples in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and carbonated just right. Very refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a crystal light yellow with fast fading fizzy white head. Aroma is similar to a sparkling wine, a little acidic, light granny apple. Flavor is the same. Mouth feel is light body with high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, a tasty little cider. Refreshing.

Lovely golden color, no head, and not very bubbly. Aroma is nice, but a bit funky. Flavor is mildly sweet. Overall, I like it. It’s refreshing. Not the best stuff out there, but It’s good.
