Tasty medium dry cider with slight carbonation. Enjoyable even though ciders aren’t my thing.

Bottle from Keller’s IGA. Pours a clear, pale yellow gold that looks like a sparkling wine with active carbonation and no head. Aroma is fresh apples and yeast. Flavor is also apples and yeast. Tart and dry, but not too much of either. Sweet, crisp, and refreshing. Dry finish. Reminded me of champagne in appearance and palate.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 gorditoabd (555) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 2, 2009
Bottle. Clear, watered-down apple juice color with champagne head. Aroma is reminiscent of a green apple jolly rancher, only less cloying. Taste is very sour to start, with vinegar evening things out from middle to finish. No note of vanilla for me here, but this is more pleasant than some of my other cider experiences. Mouthfeel is very light, with just a slight viscous stickiness at the outset. Not bad.

Bright golden, mildly carbonated under a fizz-away white head. Aroma is vinous and heavy with green apple with a slight note of vanilla when poured. Flavor is balanced between sweet and tart, apple dominant with a splash of white wine. Smooth, slightly sticky, and not as acidic as some ciders can be. ~~~~~~~~~~ 500ml bottle from Lundeen’s, Sycamore, IL September 2007, consumed June 2009.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Gypsy19 (728) - California, USA - MAY 20, 2009
Pours a lime greenish-yellow with a small foamy head that recedes quickly. Aroma is expectedly of sour green apples as well as vinegar. Nice flavor: Low acidity, very smooth body and finish. Mouthfeel is spritzy, with a smooth apple aftertaste that lingers for a moment. Probably the best apple cider I’ve had thus far. Overall, good.

Bottle pours medium yellow with some golden color. Bubbly head. Great apple and yeasty aroma. Musty apple flavor but good. Nice compared to American ciders.
