3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours slight hazy copper with a good, foamy off-white head. Think I’m getting resin/pine aroma. Med body. Flavor is light caramel with a lot of bitter hop, which seems to be a fruity/floral thing mixed with some nasty resin. Whatever, it is marvelously hoppy. It’s tending towards dry and astringent in the finish. Makes my mouth want to just curl up around it. Damn it’s bitter. Good stuff.

Bottle. Amber orange with an off white head. Sweet malty and fruity hop aroma. The flavor has fruity and floral hops on a sweet malty base. Decent.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz. bottle. Pours a thin off white head, over a cloudy apricot amber (SRM 8) body.....nose is caramel/toffee, apricot, pineapple, peach, lime, and grass....taste is a fruit cocktail to start with peach, apricot both represented, then a lighter bitter finish, sweetness lingered throughout, accompanied by vegetable tones.....mouth feel is medium, carbonation medium and adds fizz. This is a strange yet simple rendition of a DIPA. The simple malt layers are not adequately balanced by the hops, which in themselves add little complexity. The vegetable tones may be from the Warrior. This is a style which has been mastered by many breweries. This is not one of them. BJCP 6/2/12/4/6

Bomber poured a hazy amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of carmel, peach, earthiness and light orange. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, fruittiness and earthiness with a smooth dry lightly bitter fruity finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Rating #63. Hazy light orange with a dirty white head with some nice lacing. Muted aromas, lightly stale citrus and a bit of pine bordering on a bit of wet cardboard. Sweet malts up front, caramel and a pretty nice piney hop bite in the finish, very smooth and it hides the alcohol very well, not bad. (1450)

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden body and an off-white head. Aromas of canned pineapple, caramel, alcohol, pine, sticky, straw, manure, citrus (orange). I can already tell this is going to be underattenuated by the aroma. Flavors of cotton candy, straw, bitter (really bitter) with no hop flavors backing it up. Caramel, plastic, grass, canned pineapple. Not a well made IPA. Lively bubbles, big body. Cut the crystal malts and increase the knock out additions and dry hopping.

A very interesting, enjoyable and unique aroma and flavor. Not sure this is a DIPA, but it is a nice beer.
