COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ass Kisser Ale is a state of mind! Just as you contemplate the flavors of this fine ale you can contemplate sharing a bottle with a friend or your boss. Maybe they are one in the same. And then again maybe not! We are just sayin!

Ass Kisser Double IPA is a rich malty ale that has warm carmel notes that open up as it warms up to your glass. It pairs with foods with spice and aromas like Asian 5 Spice or curries. To get maximum aroma and flavor, pour this ale into a snifter style glass. This ale is made to take off the edge of a long day! Made from caring hands that understand what it takes to have to kiss a little to get anywhere these days.

Enjoy!

Bomber from the BevMo. Pours a color between honey and sugar-free maple syrup. Decent amount of foam, maybe a finger and a half at first, fading to just a half after about 2-3 minutes. Aroma is all sweet malt and... sweet malt... and apple juice. Taste is underwhelming and sweet of malt and apple juice. That it’s even called a DIPA is kind of a joke... Carbonation is weak, body is thin, mouthfeel malingering... If I brewed this I would be mad at me. Not a good job by Ass Kisser. I’m not sure whose ass you would use this to kiss, but not mine. I don’t love it. I won’t pour it, but that’s just because I’m stubborn.

This brew pours a hazy orange color with a medium thin foamy off-white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grainy malt, hops and citrus. Medium body with flavors of mildly bitter hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is caramel malt up front with a short hoppy aftertaste. Not really a IIPA in my opinion, slightly above average for the style though if that is what they are calling it.

From BandC. Typical for the style but the hops were a bit more medicinal and herbal than others. Sweetness a little turned up too. Serving: Bottle

12 oz bottle This was given to me by a friend. the ale poured a very frothy big head with the color of light orange. There was a bitter, fruity taste. The medium body ale had lively carbonation. The higher alcohol was not noticed but not my most favorite D/IPA. It needed more complexity then just the sweet malty flavors. The finish was of fruity hops.

22oz bottle received as an extra from match1112, thanks man! Orange color, decent head, looks alright. Smell is boring malts, no hops, meh. The taste is balanced between malt and hops but the hops only impart bitterness and in a bad way. It was literally like bitter aspirin, not a fan of this one at all. Oddly this one said it was brewed in San Jose, CA. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-19-2011 01:44:53

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2012 Pours clear orange with a decent size off white head that sticks around due to the amount of carbontation. Citrus and malt aroma. Fair amount of hop bitterness to give this brew the double IPA name. Alcohol level is well hidden from the hops. Excellent balance. Not sure why a company would give there brewery this name...but so be it.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2013 Hazy light caramel orange. Thick frothy creamy 1/2 inch head/ nice lacing. Malty carmel ,some hops in aroma.Kinda subtle but pleasant. Taste is very good, piney and malty but smooth and balanced, thick and creamy ,retaines its creamy head. Chewy caramel ,piney, each character seems to present itself individually.Spicey piney.Caramel piney finish.Good balance, very enjoyable.
