COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ass Kisser Ale is a state of mind! Just as you contemplate the flavors of this fine ale you can contemplate sharing a bottle with a friend or your boss. Maybe they are one in the same. And then again maybe not! We are just sayin!

Ass Kisser Double IPA is a rich malty ale that has warm carmel notes that open up as it warms up to your glass. It pairs with foods with spice and aromas like Asian 5 Spice or curries. To get maximum aroma and flavor, pour this ale into a snifter style glass. This ale is made to take off the edge of a long day! Made from caring hands that understand what it takes to have to kiss a little to get anywhere these days.

Enjoy!

Bottle (in NZ). Quite a lot of sweetness, but I thought pretty well balanced.

Creamy honey gold with white head. Fruity aroma, a bit smoky. Bitter fruit, a bit tropical. Not bad.

Big tight head over somewhat hazy light copper body. Aroma of spices and chili, some citrus, some malt. Taste of upfront bitterness, black pepper in the beginning, some citrus, some malt but not much sweetness. Palate is bitter and peppery.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours Cloudy deep amber with a beige head that leaves tons of lacing. Earthy hoppy nose (citrus/pine). Well balanced beer hops and caramel malts mixed together, citrus notes and a nice bitter finish; perhaps a bit tame for a double IPA, but overall a very nice and quite enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Cloudy dark orange to amber color with an off-white head. Aroma has alcohol, piney hops, somewhat resinous, slightly stale, a bit of fruitiness and some caramelly and slightly honey-ish malt. Flavor of sweetish malt, a bit caramelly, light grainy notes, and a bitter finish with hops, slightly stale, and light alcoholic notes. OK, but that’s it.

Pours a extremely cloudy orange copper color. Nice lacing and long-lasting off-white creamy head. Decent pine hop aroma. Nice balance of caramel maltiness with a hop bitterness. Seems like there will be a big bitter aftertaste and then the flavor just ends. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle poured into a wine glass. Clear amber color with a small white head. Strong hoppy nose, with bitter citrus, pine and earth. Caramel malt flavor, marmalade, high bitterness and juicy resiny-fruity hop flavors. Full bodied, long extremely bitter finish, satisfying and awesome.

This was a delightful beer with a lot of floral aroma. Nice bitter hoppy flavor. My wife is pregnant and on bed rest so I have not enjoyed a great microbrew in awhile.
