COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ass Kisser Ale is a state of mind! Just as you contemplate the flavors of this fine ale you can contemplate sharing a bottle with a friend or your boss. Maybe they are one in the same. And then again maybe not! We are just sayin!

Ass Kisser Double IPA is a rich malty ale that has warm carmel notes that open up as it warms up to your glass. It pairs with foods with spice and aromas like Asian 5 Spice or curries. To get maximum aroma and flavor, pour this ale into a snifter style glass. This ale is made to take off the edge of a long day! Made from caring hands that understand what it takes to have to kiss a little to get anywhere these days.

Enjoy!

The pour produces a deep copper body under a tall mostly white head. Soft citrus with some pine in the aroma. The flavor is slightly bitter with not much depth or complexity. This one is O.K. but I’ve had many others that went far above this one.

Pours a light amber with some foamy off-white head. Aroma is citrusy with maybe a bit of noble hops. Flavor packs a quick fruity bitter punch and then fades to a more stale-seeming tartness that is somewhat off-putting. The initial flavor is good but is quickly washed away and replaced with something that is far less appealing.

Bottle. Mostly clear orange pour with some carbonation bubbles. Soapy white head. Bubblegum, citrus, and spice on the nose. Taste is citrus hops with a touch of earth. Digging this.

Virtually no aroma; as an experiment, I pinched my nose for a sip and noticed no difference. Flavor is dominated by the bitterness that remains long after swallowing. The strange texture leaves the roof of my mouth feeling like I just had a swig of Coke, probably a result of the acidity. Overall, even for those who like their beer very bitter (and I do!), this beer is likely to disappoint due to the complete lack of balance.

Pours a dark gold honey in color. Thin soapy head. Fruity banana aroma with some yeast notes. Clean bitter hops flavor. Some citrus with a touch of pine. Overall, nice to have sampled. I would consider buying again.

Decent looking double IPA. But,honestly, it doesn’t impress. Pretty bland by double IPA standards. There are far better beers out there.

Looks good tastes like poo. Not really but this IPA isn’t good. Pours dark orange with sticky white head. Taste is apricot bitter and hoppy. Not smooth and somewhat a choker Strong hints of apricot ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Very disappointing for a Double IPA, closer to an IPA. Hop aroma is the immediate turn-off, smelled like a wet sock. Clarity was lacking and the head only lasted a couple of seconds. Grassy hop flavor. I judged the beer by the label and was extremely disappointed.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet sugary malts and tropical fruits with a little caramel.

The flavor is sweet sugary malts and some fruit with a big watery middle and a decent resiny /charred hop bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and watery.

Overall, a subdued DIPA - too sweet and watery for me with not a lot of hop profile.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2012 22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite tropical fruity, with citrus hops, lots of caramel syrup, and oranges. Flavour of orange peel, grapefuit, tropical fruits, syrupy notes and finally finishing on a slightly bitter hop note. A little bit cloying in sweetness but it’s alright overall. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a golden orange with nice off white head. Aroma is super malt forward with caramel and just a slight floral hop scent. Taste is floral hops, heavy caramel syrup. Although unbalanced and heavy on the malts, not completely undrinkable.
