Good beer. The vanilla makes this pale soft and velvety. It is a little sweet, so i probably wouldn’t drink more than a few, but it is a nice drink to pair with a salad or fish to drink on a hot day. Pours with a decent head and cloudy appearance.

[Bottle] Pours a deep golden color with a fizzy body but no head. Vanilla bean, bread, toffee and mild hoppy aroma. Lots of vanilla in the taste, without being overwhelming. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Almost ’nitro-esque’ despite being in a bottle. I like vanilla, so I actually enjoyed this one. Tasting notes from 1/2014.

Bottle. Pours golden with lots of white head. Aroma is pale malt, maybe a hint of vanilla. taste is sweet, malty, and again, hint of vanilla. just ok.

2/27/2012. from bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Sweet malty aromas with light fruit, corn and grassy notes. Nothing really exciting about this one. A bit watery and easy to forget.

Pours a pale gold color with a thin, short lived white head. Grain, malt, grass and slight hop aroma. Grain, grass, slight hop and slight vanilla flavors. Tastes like wort. Light body and mild carbonation. Slightly sweet with grain finish. Really seems like the brewing process was rushed and wasn’t fully fermented or carbonated.

Bottle from Big Lots. Medium golden in color. Grainy aroma dominates. I don’t smell anything like vanilla. High carbonation. Grainy up front with a touch of hops and a grainy bitter finish. Wouldn’t ever guess this was a vanilla beer.

Vanilla is prominent in the flavor, but strangely absent from the aroma. Nothing special about this beer, but if you enjoy vanilla like I do this is a solid choice without being too overpowering.

Strong vanilla that isn't too sweet I suppose, but isn't all that good for any more than one or maybe two. Not huge on it. Little on it.

Looks like a pale ale. Heavy with a vanilla taste. Probubly not something I would purchase myself, but could see my wife liking it.

12 oz bottle. I dont want my pale ale tasting like ice cream. This is not my favorite pale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
