Poured on tap at Belmont Station. Glowing orange copper body with frizzy white dome. Nose quite spicy and floral. Big bitter bite. Left some of my taste buds in tact. Very nice over the top hop appeal. Nothing to bitch about here.

Strong hop aroma. Perhaps a combo of floral and pine. Possibly citrus lurks. Really nice smell. Very hazy deep amber color with a white head that quickly filmed. The hop flavor is strong and mixed, at the start. I vote for pine and floral. Light carbonation. Full bodied. Good malt backbone. Dry, bitter finish. Leaves the mouth redolent of pine. Perhaps a bit of citrus sour at the back of the mouth.

On tap at Belmont Station: Pours with a 1 finger diminishing white head and a muddy orange color. Good aroma of complex citrus fruits and some floral notes. Flavor is malty and bitter with some grapefuity character. Very clean bitterness and fairly balanced but definitely hop forward.

On tap. Light amber color, huge hoppy nose. Dry on the palate with mega flavor. This is a refreshing I2 that would be great on a hot day. Sit boo boo, sit. Good bitch.

Notably dark for an IPA, even an imperial. The color is saturated saffron, the head is pillow soft, and the aroma is herbaceous, unrelenting, and floats through the air with a piney/floral sweetness. The bittering kicks with blackbelt authority. This is an ambitious beer with good intentions and excellent delivery. It is a smooth drinking ale with affirmed integrity, a feathery mouthfeel, and wide, plastered lace. Above all, smooth. Highly recommended.

Great Beer, I am impressed with the flavor. Not over-powering for an imperial. Nice head with lacing. So good I took a growler with me for later!

I loved this beer. Not only is it an interesting IPA but the overall front to back flavors in the mouth are not overpowering. Though I thought that it was a high alcohol brew I did not detect it from the taste.

This was listed on the card as an Imperial IPA. It is a really impressive IPA nonetheless. Lots of hoppy citrus flavors, hufe hop aromas, the are fragrant and surround your nose throughout the entire pint. Bold, and masks the alcohol quite well, a very great example of a beer that has fresh hops and a supremely backed up malt character. Nice!

(2005 Newport Microbrew Festival) This was an awesome IPA. The aroma was huge and the flavor was also just as well. The hops nose on this beer grabbed you and did not let go. A fresh drinkable beer with a great overall flavor. The clear golden tan color made this a great beer. One of the best at the festival. The strong alcohol did not give this beer away at all. Hard to tell but after a few you would have been on the floor. This was a strong beer and not for the weak.
