Tap at the brewpub. Dark gold pour. Malty, toffee and earthy English hop aroma. Smooth malt body, some toffee and a nice hop bite in the taste. Good session ESB.

$ oz. Taster at Wet Dog Cafe April 12th, 2010. 5.5% ABV. 50 IBU’s. Lacy head. Clear bright amber color. Earthy floral malt fruit hop front. Sweet smooth rich caramel mild doughy biscuit body. Sweet mild hop spice end. A little too sweet. (3.25 / 5.0)

DuffMan (4418) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 14, 2010
On tap at the brewpub.Clear orange amber, average white head. Aroma of butterscotch with nuances of spice and marmalade. Butterscotch, fresh orange zest hoppiness, and a crisp moderately bitter finish. Better than their amber!

Dogbrick (4824) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 12, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. The aroma is mostly sweet malt with a bit of hops. Medium body with caramel malt and hops flavors, as well as a hint of fruit. The finish is malty at first with a short and hoppy aftertaste. So-so overall.

A good quality ESB. A hint of sweet malts, but a bitter profile that is decent. Not the best, but still.

BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 9, 2005
Sampled draught at Wet Dog Cafe/Pacific Rim, Astoria
Pale copper, nose of light fruit & hops, tart dry flavor with a watery finish. There’s nothing for me here.
