A hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, citrus and catnip, hops and caramel malt, very nice. In mouth, a crisp biscuit malt with funky citrus hops, catnip, resinous and complex, quite good. On tap at OBF Fringe Fest Belmont Station, July 30 2011.

Clear, deep golden color, small white head, lace. Aroma of nettles and grass. Light to medium-bodied. Kind of burning hoppyness in the front, nice nettle/grassy hoppyness finishing to citrusy end. Nice pale ale which leans on more to hoppyness than malts.

Tap at brewpub. Light gold pour. Musty, citrus aroma, very light. Smooth malt body with just a hint of citrus hop bite in the taste. Tasty brew.

On tap @ Plews. Pours a light golden color with a medium head and moderate lacing. Quite clear. Aroma is HUGE of citrus fruits, sour oranges, grapefruit, some pine, and other types of bushes. A bit of spruce coming through as well. Taste is very bitter for a pale. The ruby red grapefruit coming into the forefront and eventually finishing quite puckery and spicy. Citra hops can be quite interesting when used for bittering.

2010-06-28. Hazy golden yellow, small white head and lace. 3+ Nice citrusy hop bitterness in the flavour, grapefruit, touch of lemon. Bit astringent in the finish. 7+ Aroma has strong citrusy hop profile, grapefruit, very light leafy green touches. 7+ Average palate could be more full bodied but is refreshing as it is. Enjoyable. [3009-20100628] Tap. Fruity citrus grasses aroma has a hint of resin. Hazy, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head and thick lacing. Bitter resin grasses hops flavour has a light grapefruit pip aftertaste. Medium body is quite bitter. Wow, bitter and tasty and good.
