Sampler tray at the brewpub. Poured brown with a small, tan head. Aroma of coffee, coffee and more coffee with a light bit of chocolate and some caramel thrown in. Flavor was coffee, toffee and chocolate and it suffered from the same thin mouth that their stout did. I prefer my porters to be quite a bit more robust than this one was, not going to get the job done with that weak business.

Dark ruby brown color, good creamy beige head, lace. Lots of chocolate in the toasted nose with hints of smoke. Medium-bodied. Sweetish front, some chocolate then finishing to more dry roasted aftertaste. Good shit.

2010-06-28. Very dark brown body, near black, smooth tan head and a bit of lace. Dry roasty flavour, mocha and dry bitterness, dusty roast lingers into the aftertaste. Aroma is roasty, light fresh brewed coffee roast character. 7+ Smooth average plus palate. 3+ Not entirely to my own tastes but a pretty good porter nonetheless. On tap at Wet Dog Cafe, Astoria

Salesman: Oh, yes, we can help you there. "Everyone poops" is still the standard, of course. We’ve also got less popular "Nobody Poops But You".
Peter Griffin: Huh... well... you see... we’re Catholic so... uh...
Salesman: Oh, well then you want "You’re a Naughty Child and that’s Concentrated Evil Coming Out of the Back of You".

[3012-20100628] Tap. Toasted caramel taffy malt aroma. Dark brown black body with a long-lasting creamy tan head and some lacing. More toasted caramel in the flavour with a long sweet toffee cream aftertaste. Medium-full body is nice and smooth. Very drinkable. Points for the name, but hope it’s not made with real poop.

On tap at the brewpub. Nearly opaque dark brown, clingy golden head. Aroma of chocolate liqueur and burnt malt. Rich roast and chocolate flavours, hints of woodfire smoke within the sweetness. An outstanding porter.

Sample at the brewpub. First of all, awesome name. The beer is nearly black with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Sweet roasted malt aroma with coffee notes. Medium body with coffee, roasted malt and mild chocolate flavors. The finish is dry and roasty with a short coffee aftertaste. Above average for the most part.

Portland trip. Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark brown color with light ruby highlights and a medium sized tan head. The aroma was faint coffee and not much else. The flavor was sweet chocolate and moderate coffee with not a whole lot to fill it out. Medium finish. Somewhat thin. Ok.
