bhensonb (2670), Woodland, California, USA Dec 19, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of finest cat p---, or grapefruit, if you prefer. Hazy amber color with a creamy beige head that laced a little. Medium body with slightly biting carbonation. Grapefruit strongly over caramel. Finish is so hoppy. It’s certainly a cut above the average IPA. Oakes (6771), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 25, 2007 Hazy amber. Very pleasing hop aroma. Lime, papaya, starfruit, mandarin...so lots of different directions. Lean, bitter, emminently fresh and fruity. The body actually gets a shade thin late but it’s pretty well thought-out, this one. SamuraiArtist (292), portland, Oregon, USA Jul 23, 2007 Draft at Belmont Station: Pours a great looking orange amber color, slightly hazy, with a 1 finger white head. Mild malt and hop aroma does not smell that great. Flavor is malty and bitter, hops take over as it goes down, medium to high bitterness with nice semi spicy, dank and a bit pithy hop flavor. Very smooth with a medium thick mouthfeel, the malt balance is just right on this. Excelent IPA. epador (4), USA does not count May 27, 2006 Hippity Hoppity for sure. I’m not sure if it was named after the location or Shark Saliva. It may not cure cancer like Shark Cartilage, but it handles well and finished great, livening up an otherwise dreary NW rainy Memorial Day. bob4beer (4), Huntington Beach, California, USA does not count May 18, 2006 Very well balanced IPA, definitely a hoppy brew. Appearance was that of an unfiltered ale (this probably was but I did not know).
