3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Weak aroma of standard, but nice, German hops and a little bit of base malt. Despite the name and the label, this beer is actually a dark gold colour. Also, it’s clear and has a thin white patchy cover. I prefer this beer to others from this brewery, as it has a lot more flavour, probably because of the elevated amount of malt: now there is enough sweet malt to balance the harshness of the hops. Still, this is pretty boring stuff, just a stronger than some lager wiith a little sweet malt and standard hops flavour. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, not quite crisp finish.
