Kept in a fridge in shop in Berlin giving a belief of something alive. But just a standarda beer without a really appelation. Anyway, definitely fine for summer. A bit of barrel taste. B@H

33cl Bottle: BBD 11/2015. Poured into a Chimay chalice in 12/2014. Should be drank on the Reeperbahn I suppose, but this bottle was brought back from Hamburg by me, for me and I had it at home. Got to admit I thought it might have a red hue to it’s colour. Golden, clear and bright, white head, thinning immediately. Grainy and semi-sweet, metallic twang also: not good, had to open a packet of crisps to help me finish the bottle.

* Old rating, 0,33l crown-top bottle, best before 12.2008. Süßlich-würziges Bier. Ganz leicht herb, sehr süffig, mir zu süßlich...

Steinie bottle 33cl. Clear medium amber color, good frothy white head, recedes after a while, good lacing; aroma sweet malty, grainy, bread, grass, caramel; taste moderate sweet and bitter, malty notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, finish dry bitter and slightly sweet, light earthy tones; overall a nice decent helles with enough body and bitterness.

Baalzevuv (68) - Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2014
Klarowny lager o pełnej barwie, głęboko złocisty. Piana biała, obfita, dość trwała i sztywna.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with foamy, white head. Malty aroma with a hint of alcohol. Pure and hard taste with nothing special whatsoever - tastes almost like watered-down trippel. Aftertaste of oily, sugary alcohol. I guess this would be ok to consume after a long weekend of raving about at Hamburg.

eduardovl (1104) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
330ml bottle served in a thumbler. A: Pours a clear orange to copper color forming a small and big bubbled white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacings S: Strong sweet grains. Bready Lager-like yeasts. Some grassy hops T: Sweet pils grains in upfront. Very crispy. Notes of caramel malts an grassy hops. In overall, a slightly sweet upfront followed by a very crispy and maly taste. Light hops bitterness M: Medium body and carbonation. Slightly sweet and bready aftertaste O: Medium drinkability. An above average European strong Lager but not a big deal for a german beer [ BA Review @ 12/13/2013 ]
