eduardovl (1192) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
330ml bottle served in a thumbler. A: Pours a clear orange to copper color forming a small and big bubbled white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacings S: Strong sweet grains. Bready Lager-like yeasts. Some grassy hops T: Sweet pils grains in upfront. Very crispy. Notes of caramel malts an grassy hops. In overall, a slightly sweet upfront followed by a very crispy and maly taste. Light hops bitterness M: Medium body and carbonation. Slightly sweet and bready aftertaste O: Medium drinkability. An above average European strong Lager but not a big deal for a german beer [ BA Review @ 12/13/2013 ]

33cl bottled, nice optic and an average flavor. The taste is better than the Astra Urtyp. All in all this northern german beer is one of the nicest.

Idiosynkrasie (5568) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 4, 2014
330ml bottle. Clear, dark orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting and lacing, white head. Grainy aroma with strange hoppy overtones, paper, clammy cement, pale tobacco. Taste is grainy with minimal sweetness, faint bitter hoppy overtones. Another Astra variation of excrescent Brummagem.

Can at Bodega 54. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body. Sweet malt grass aroma and flavor without much hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish. Alcohol well hidden by the sweetness of the beer.

from Drinks of the World, Bern - clear amber beer with a poor head retention; aroma of paperboard and yeast; hints of fruits bubblegum below; medium- to full-bodied, earthy and medicinal herbs in the finish; light bitter

visionthing (4076) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2014
33cl bottle at St. Pauli biergarten, Oslo. Pours clear golden with a rather small, white head. Mild malty aroma with herbal hops and hints of caramel. Moderate sweet, not the most exciting flavours, but a nice bitterness. Quite drinkable and refreshing on a sunny afternoon.
