2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - JUL 10, 2007
I expected this to be categorized as a strong lager. Malty, a bit sugary and slightly alcoholic. I don’t think this serves much more purpose than getting one drunk quicker than with basic Astra. It’s not bad, but not my choice.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 flemmingwillum (736) - Copenhagen S, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2007
A fine helles with a deep golden/brown colour, and a nice head. The aroma is very dry and malty, with a little caramel. Flavour is sweet and malty, but never too much, and it turns out as a quite drinkable beer. Average palate, maybe a little thin considering the alcohol percentage. Nice.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pivnizub (7226) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 22, 2007
Bottle: Deep golden coloured, small stable foamy layer; grainy, dusty nose, almost with a tinge of coffee(?); faint sweet-bitter flavour; astonishingly light bodied for a beer of 6.0 % ABV; mild sweet-bitter finish with a metallic tinge. Presumable a beer for the tourists in the St. Pauli red-light district..........
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 30, 2007
(33cl bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a fluffy, slightly off-white foamy head. Shy aroma: slightly dusty and sweet malty, grainy, a bit bready with notes of alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented one-dimensional taste, early arriving alcohol; moderately dry, very light bitter finish with an overly present unpleasant alcoholic note.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 YogiBeera (2436) - Hamburg, GERMANY - SEP 7, 2006
Amber color, small head. fizzy carb, alcohol and malt taste - nothing special nothing harmful. An example that a bit more alcohol can make a shitty beer taste a bit better ;-)
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 bierkoning (8099) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2006
Deep golden color. Grapes in the rather vinous aroma. Malty yet thiinsh, rather stony flavor with a touch of grapes. Alcoholic for its ABV. Not very good.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2006
(Bottle 33 cl) Pale, reddish amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose with a hint of alcohol. Medium-bodied, malty with a vague tang of cardboard. Somewhat raw and brutal, bitter finish. Not overwhelmingly pleasant. 070806
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - JUL 16, 2006
Compared to the regular Astra this much better, but the regular Astra is crap. Light gold color, low head. Sweat lager nose. Honey tastes, light spicy end. Medium body. Something "cheap" about this though. It’s by no means good, but a drinkable Astra beer is a step forward for them.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - JUN 28, 2006
(0.33L Bottle) Pours golden with white head. I can actually say this beer is better then normal Astra (but that’s not saying a whole lot). Very drinkable with not much mouthfeel.
