stronger than the standard Astra it comes with a nice malty flavour. luckily not with this liquor aroma of some stronger beers. goes down well, but getting up next day is not so easy

Dark blond in colour. Lightly fruity and malty aroma. Rich, creamy, well rounded texture and smooth taste.

Fizzy CO2, nitrogen foam, average pilsner head. Herb-yeast like and solid hints of spices. Golden colour and mouth watering. light sweet going into traces of sourness. Medium-fully body, light texture and a long finish. The next generation of Astra!

Bottle from a Berlin corner shop. Lovely golden beer. Malty, quite sweet, minty flavour. Herbs, some chewing gum - spearmint.

Reddish amber colour, white head. Malty aroma, light sour, apples, caramel, quite pronounced hops. Reminds of a Speciale Belge with more hops. Malty sweet flavour, light sour touch. Quite OK.

Hübsch, dünkelblond und ordentliche Schaumkrone. Schön hopfig, würzig und leicht Alkoholisch im Geschmack. Der Nachgeschmack ist ähnlich nur kommt der Alkohol noch etwas mehr zum Vorschein, was mir in diesem Fall gut gefällt. Fazit: Vielleicht auf der Reeperbahn noch etwas besser, gutes Bier das ich gerne wieder trinke! Test vom 17.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,11,10,12 - 11,60

Bottle 33cl @Offenburg. A clear golden beer with low head. Aroma is well malty, especially at the finish, nice hops on vegetable and grass. The beer is mostly dry but pleasant to taste and with good malty / hopy aftertaste, not bad, alcohol is well hidden.

330 ML bottle in Germany. Golden, slighty amber color with white head. Malty, sweet aroma. Quickly disapating taste with metal hints. Palate is smooth carby and sweet. A good Helles

Looks nice in the glass with a clear amber colour and a medium white head that stays for a moment and then diminishes leaving a lacing. Aroma is very malty as the style suggests with notes of rye bread, barley, seeds, camomille and grains. Fine and clean. Taste reveals itself very quickly with a fresh herbal bitterness and an even stronger malty finish. Lots of grains and cereal. A very solid flavor but a bit one dimensional. Body is light to medium with a lively carbonation. This is a nice beer, one of the good commercial examples of the style.

Heavy hoppy aroma. Large frothy white head. Good lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Clear yellow body. Moderate sweet initial flavor whit a long finish duration. Medium palate. Watery texture.
