Deep golden color. Grapes in the rather vinous aroma. Malty yet thiinsh, rather stony flavor with a touch of grapes. Alcoholic for its ABV. Not very good.

Bottle.... It pours clear deep amber with a small head..... The aroma is roasted malt, some bread and dark fruits..... Very nice ..... mouthfeel.... The flavor is roasted malt, bread, dark fruits and a some alcohol.......

Flaske 0,33l fra REWE i Göttingen. Fortært på rom 304 i Hotel Intercity, Göttingen 7 Mar 12. Delt med vasken. Lys gylden. Høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Søt, litt parfymert aroma. Spor av malt. Smaken er forbausende vassen. Litt malt. Søtt ubestemmelig helhetsinntrykk.

Pours copper with a decent white head. Nose is MGD. It doesn’t smell fresh, it smells like it’s been on the shelf a while. What I do get is some caramel malts with light pine. Some dark fruit smells to, which I would expect in a belgian dark, not a helles. Flavor is mildy bitter with some sweet for balance. Rather light tasting for 6%. The mouthfeel is light bodied and soft. Aftertaste is subtle.

Slightly more powerful than most other standard German lager, but still a very dull beer.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2012 Golden yellow clear body with white tight head. Aromas malts, grains. Palate medium bodied with lively carbonation and mouth feel. Aftertaste sweet maltiness with hints of weak dry hoppy finish. Compared to normal helles more full bodied and richer, not too special though.

33cl bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Golden amber with very little head. Aroma is light sweet malt. Flavor is lightly sweet with strong hops notes and some mustiness. Decent, nothing special.

another trashy beer. Havent had much luck in the dortmunder category. Picked this up at a supermarket in Chile - amazing they bother to export such trash. I guess nobody in Germany wants it so they unload it to whoever will take it. Most Chilean beers have this far beat, though
