clear golden colour with absolutely no foam, strong herbal hoppiness in the nose, some notes of peanuts and apricot, medium-bodied and a little bit oily, strong bitterness and a long herbal aftertaste - a superb pils !

bierkoning (8099) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2005
Just a hnit of soap in both aroma and flavor. Some malt, some boiled milk, hints of orange and, yes, even some hops. You won’t believe it! Aus Hamburg the back label says. Not a product Hamburg can be proud of.

Bronstein (175) - Göttingen, GERMANY - DEC 9, 2002
Pale yellow color, creamy and stable head. Flavour is very dry and finally bitter. Bitterness is somewhat lasting. The dryness is of the tongue-biting kind. Seems to be brewed for the people of St. Pauli which isn’t the finest crowd.
