Light auburn coloring, with a small off white head. Decent enough on the palate, balanced maltiness with not much of a hop presence outside of the nose. Just a sweet bready maltiness throughout.

An average beer on the world scale, but probably the best one at the BeerGarten. It is a traditional Alt, but nothing stands out. Points for brewing to style though.

Can’t give this one very high marks. Was almost difficult to swallow. Was told by the waiter that this was a brown ale, almost like Newcastle....not!
