Fruity, slightly hoppy, but in the end it is another benign red ale. Luckily i got a single bottle.

Bottle. Very clear amber, weak head. Earthy hop and gruyere aromas, hints of caramel and sheep dung. Nutty malt, appleskin, grass, and spice flavors. Watery palate. Cramel and peanut shell finish, muddy aftertaste. Meh.

12 oz bottle from the CASK Brewclub Banquet. Lightly floral and lemony hop aroma. Mild amber ale flavor, with a bit of caramel, light hop flavor and a little bitterness at the end. Very little aftertaste. Mild throughout, but completely drinkable. Not bad, not memorable.

This gets an automatic one point appearance deduction for any association with the term "Laughing Skull". The namesake Bohemian pilsener was one of the foulest, and most memorably so, beers I have ever had. Clear plastic label, clear light brown beer with a big fluffy head. Light, slightly candied APA aroma. A little floral, a little toasted, citrus pith, lightly sweet. Not bad. Medium light body, lingering toasted and hoppy aftertaste. Market Square Liquors, Timberlane.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) clear yellow-orange with a film and ring of off-white bubbles. Nose of melon, honey and caramel. Taste of caramel, light toastiness, citrus bitterness. Medium thin body with soft carbonation and a bitter linger.

Has a hop-malt flavor, medium bodied, slightly bitter, reddish in color.

What is this, soap flavored beer? It’s a sickly, cloudy amber with a greenish tint. Head has very large bubbles, like soap. Aroma is nothing, but flavor is all soap. Palate is incredibly thin. I feel like this beer is cleaning my class for me. Bottle from Whole Foods, Nashville.

Clear orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of sugar and lemon and lime. Mild taste light body, low carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly sweet and toasty. Feels thin. The flavor is slightly watery with some sweet notes and a touch of bitter. Weaker than I hoped.

PorterPounder (5345) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 3, 2010
Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, slight white bubbly head. Aroma is pretty much neutral with just a hint of fresh lake water. Flavor has a hint of spice, some faint caramel notes, and a bit of citrus to round it out. Decent bitterness. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry. Much better than its original name sake - which to this day sticks in my head as one of the most foul tasting beers I have ever put my lips to.
