3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
draft. Pours a dark, brownish read with creamy, almost nitrogen like tan head. Medium bodied, low in carbonation, almost drinks like a bitter. Aroma is earthy with caramel, flavor is the same, notes of soil, toast, nuts, and caramel. Overall not too shabby.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft. Poured light amber with a smallish white head. Aroma and flavor were mild, some bready malt, some citrusy, grassy hops. LIttle bit o’ honey, perhaps. Nice and drinkable.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) Color is somewhere between yellow and orange. Smells of mat syrup, bananas, roast. Maybe some sweet smoke. Tastes light herbal bitterness, some grapefruit pith, chalk.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cool label on the bottle, but this is an amber ale. Pours a light amber color with little head and grainy aromas. Flavor is similar... a kind of uninteresting amber ale with caramel malts and mild hops... kinda sweet... kinda sticky... kinda meh...

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a beautiful clear amber with a thick, yellowish, light tan head that sticks around - very appealing for any beer, and superior to nearly all amber ales. Aroma is crisp and malty with fruity and hoppy underpinnings. Pleasing flavor is mainly malty and has hints of fruit - mainly apple - and hops, with just a touch of bitterness. Texture is quite fizzy and lively. This is one of the best amber ales I’ve ever had. I have downed this before, but didn’t realize how good it is - maybe because previously I’ve had it only from a bottle.

1.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
I really wanted to like this beer. However, it smelled quite skunky, and felt like it coated the side of my tongue with nastiness. As far as style goes, it sort of matches an Amerocan Amber, apart from the off flavours.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle that pours a hazy orange with an enormous foamy off white head (so much head that I had to let the glass sit for a bit to pour the rest of the bottle into the glass) that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma of lemon, apricot, honey and caramel malt. Taste is apricot, honey and caramel malts. Very carbonated - medium body. Okay brew but nothing outstanding for sure.
