From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that produced a little lacing. The aroma was lightly bitter with notes of citrus and honey. The flavor was citrus, honey, nut, bread and vanilla. The finish was medium length bitter lemon and honey. Medium body. Ok.

Aroma is light hops and earthy. Taste is of dough and very light hops. Pours a nice light brown/medium yellow with a brownish white head. Weak carbonation. Overall not a bad beer.

Fairly generic amber ale. Not much to comment on. Amber with faint malt aroma. Hops are minor here and malt profile is nothing memorable.

bubbleflubber (1832) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - SEP 11, 2010
Pours orange-amber into the glass, with a lightly retentive soapy head that leaves light lace. A sweet caramel and toffee nose mixes with basement yeast notes. The flavors are somewhat malty, somewhat dry, with some light fruity citrus that leads into a semi-dry bitter finish. The mouthfeel is dampened with subtle carbonation and a semi-flat body. Just an "ok" amber ale, not completely devoid of substance, yet not an extremely complex offering.

Great hot weather easy drinking session a brew. Strong malt backbone throughout with an ample caramel overtone. Hops are brisk and fruity. Nicely balanced.

Nice head, good amber color. Slight fruitness, no particular "wow" factor as many reviewers have commented on here. Decent lacing, not super prevalent. Smooth on the palate, overall decent brew.

On tap in a shaker at a restaurant in Atlanta, this has a nice orangish/brownish color with crisp malts and a slightly bitter finish. It is what it is, a decent amber that isnít going to wow you, but itís nice for Atlanta restaurants to serve something besides macros and Sweetwater.

0.33L bottle, bubbley head that dissapears rather quickly, quite clear light orange colour, soapy aroma with some cheesy notes, not very apealing, flavour of vanila, bread and candy, with metalic bitterness, sourish aftertaste. Not good.

So, to cut to the chase, I sum this one up with the sentence "not bad, but kinda plain". Details? you want details? OK, sure - caramel, toffee in the nose, caramel and toffee in the flavor, a little bit of hoppiness in the finish.
