Very average. A bit of malt backbone, medium hops, slight grassy flavor--drinkable but just not much to it.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
This beer is just shockingly bad... I am a homebrewer and amber ales are probably one of the most fool proof styles and they just really bombed on this one... The aroma is caramel malts and dirty laundry and sweaty socks... The flavor is more of the same, with a very off funky finish..: not good

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A copper body with a white head that faded to a thin coating, some lace to it. Aroma had mild bread notes and some caramel. Flavor was mostly of sweet caramel malts but did have some hops and biscuit flavors. There was a strange flavor in the after taste Finish was smooth and light.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle into English pint. Thanks to Brenn79. Faint aromas of grain and some (??). Pours a pale copper hue with a quickly dissipating head and so-so lace. Taste is biscuity, nutty, some caramel malt, wet dog. Highly carbonated with a grainy aftertaste. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Very boring amber with nothing distinctive about it.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle- Pours copper with little head, aroma is some sweet malt but is pretty mellow. The flavor is malty like other amber ales but this is much more mellow and drinkable in my opinion, it’s actually not bad. But this still is my least favorite style (including pale lagers) for a reason, over all not bad but not even close to great.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
This came with my micro beer of the month selection. Copper color pour with a small white head. Smell of malts, hops, nuts. Flavor is bland with malts sticking out a little. Disappointed with this beer, was looking for more.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Nice light amber color. good initial dose of hops, but they aren’t around for long. The holliness is replaced by an astringent flavor that lasts throughout. Not what I was expecting.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Holy lord, these asshats brought back this beer?! This is like bringing Michael Bolton out of retirement, it’s a bad idea or is it? Let me give it a shot. The first version of this was a slightly crappy pilsner/lager deal but this is an amber ale. The appearance is an amber color with a moderate head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, a bit of pine, and sweat. Yes the sweat lives on. The flavor has got a tiny bit of unwanted funk but then the slight hoppy flavors kick in. A nice malt balance to the hops as well. Overall this wasn’t bad at all. I’d do it for a cheap sixer if I’m bored in the ATL. Real bored but still.......
