This came with my micro beer of the month selection. Copper color pour with a small white head. Smell of malts, hops, nuts. Flavor is bland with malts sticking out a little. Disappointed with this beer, was looking for more.

Nice light amber color. good initial dose of hops, but they arenít around for long. The holliness is replaced by an astringent flavor that lasts throughout. Not what I was expecting.

Holy lord, these asshats brought back this beer?! This is like bringing Michael Bolton out of retirement, itís a bad idea or is it? Let me give it a shot. The first version of this was a slightly crappy pilsner/lager deal but this is an amber ale. The appearance is an amber color with a moderate head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, a bit of pine, and sweat. Yes the sweat lives on. The flavor has got a tiny bit of unwanted funk but then the slight hoppy flavors kick in. A nice malt balance to the hops as well. Overall this wasnít bad at all. Iíd do it for a cheap sixer if Iím bored in the ATL. Real bored but still.......

Between golden and amber in color. Some presence of hops in the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Balanced. Not bad.

Draft sample at the 2nd Annual Rocket City Brewfest. Amber in the glass with an off-white head that settled to a ring. Subdue aroma of toasted malt. The flavor was also subdued with toasted malt and a slight earthiness. Medium body, sweet, slightly chalky. Subdue overall and not that exciting.

Pours a murky golden orange color with brown hues and dark golden orange hints when held to a light source. Two finger frothy, soapy white head that quickly fades into a lasting ring. Sporadic chunks of lacing left behind. Slightly earthy aroma with hints of bready yeast, earthy hops, caramel malt, butter and toffee. Slightly toasty with a subtle funky presence. The earthy character is a bit much and it smells kind of like dirt/soil. Fuller bodied than expected with some soft carbonation up front followed by a dry, bitter earthy hop flavor which is a bit stale. The malt backbone isnít as strong as I expected or hoped for. Slightly toasted caramel malt with subtle hint of rye, bready yeast, toffee and butter. Not very well balanced with an odd solvent alcohol astringency and an unpleasant metallic finish.

Pours amber with notes of light hops. The flavor offers more malt and deeper senses of hops. shows a bready quality and a nice smooth finish.
