The aroma is corn like and slightly toasted with butter, hay, and leaves. The appearance is light amber with a sudsy, medium head. The taste is like the aroma with a clean, yet slightly soapy, finish. The palate is average for the style. Overall it’s not a bad beer but it’s not really what I expect from an amber.

Pours...not amber. Light straw gold with one finger of head. Nose is super ass-y, lots of biscuit and cloying honey notes. Wayyyyy too much of the biscuit malt in the flavor, like drinking wet grain. Lots of toasted malt flavors and bready notes. Medium body with a soft carbonation and hops like wet hay.

Much cloer to a pilsner in my book. Refreshing on this hot ass day at Eabf. Toasty corn and grain. Grassy hops. Good session

Really nice amber ale. The beer smells of bready and caramel malt citrus hops in the orange range. The beer is a hazy deep gold to orange with a big dense white head. The beer tastes of bead, caramel and orange hops. There is also some light butter like richness. The body is medium with an incredible smoothness. Very good.

Really nice presentation out of the glass. Big head never fades but goes craggy. Reminds me of orval for some. Wow that head looks so scrumtious. Lots of co2 in ther yummy. Taste has a nice bitterness that builds but never over the top. Sizzle really adds to the taste bud sensations. Good overall beery experience.

Bottle. Don’t like this one --- astringent and skunky. Maybe it was an old bottle bought in Florida, but others from brand have been fine.

poured into a pint glass on tap. Pours a medium amber color with a small head. nice aromas of malts and some hops. While on the simple side, it is nice with solid depth. Medium bodied with a decent and smooth feel. A bit lacking on the mid with some flavors of malts and blood oranges. A nice brew. Very drinkable and pretty straight forward.

Very solid amber. Exactly what is expected of the style. Malty, but not extreme. Not that hoppy. Easy drinking.

Pours a light golden yellow with a rather large ridiculous big head, nice for a bubble bath. Aroma is grainy and metallic, hating it already ! Tasteless and watery, NOT for me. Truly is a laughable dud of a beer. Quaff Score 3 /10

Pours a hazy amber with a white head and aroma of malt and grains. Taste is sweet, of grains, malt, fruits, and caramel, watery, with a thin mouthful.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2012 A typical amber ale. Nice and refreshing, nothing really too special. I just have too complex of a palate. Tasted at Michael’s Genuine in Miami.
