From a bottle. - pours a light copper color, thin head, moderate lacing. Aroma is minimal, hints of burnt toffee. Mouthfeel is thin, tastes burned, some malt Nd a light bitter finish. This is fairly unpleasant to my palate.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy amber with small frothy beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruits and caramel. Bready malt and caramel with sweet finish. Decent.

Bottle--well, it looked good, nice copper color with a small head, but that’s where the good stuff ended. Something like a malt aroma hit you in the nose. The taste was like the color, copper. None of the sweetness of caramel that was expected. High carbonation. Petty’s 1.99

Draft at WOB Viera. Medium amber body with little head. Mostly sweet maltiness and a bit thin on the tongue. Not bad but pretty forgettable.

Bottle from Ale Yeah! Hazy amber with frothy white head. Aroma of bread, citrus and hops. Taste of bread and bitter hops. Bitter and tangy aftertaste. Lots of carbonation. It’s okay

A bittersweet malt, literally. Taste is: sweet caramel malts, bready, bitter, with some fruit. Pours a nice head. Good beer to try for those getting used to bitters

Super malt heavy. Garnet in color. Sweet caramel malts with an astringent aftertaste. Toffee notes are also in there. Nothing special.

Rated on 3-25-2011 (Bottle purchased at Total Wine & More-Ft. Myers, FL) This beer has a large frothy, fizzy beige head with a lengthy retention, transparent amber body, fast rising carbonation, and soapy looking lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, bready, suggestion of citrus, earthy hops, sweet, spicy, and light fruitiness. The taste is lightly bitter, light citrus hops, caramel malt, and bready. The mouthfeel is tingly carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This is just an ok beer for me as it does not have a lot of character to speak of and the flavor was semi-bland.

On tap at the brewery in 2011 (from notes). Crystal clear orange, amber, with a small, near-white head. Nice medium toasted malt aroma. Some citrus hops appear upon tasting. Medium body with good carbonation. A tasty beer that could serve as a good introduction to craft brews.
