Great hot weather easy drinking session a brew. Strong malt backbone throughout with an ample caramel overtone. Hops are brisk and fruity. Nicely balanced.

Aroma is light hops and earthy. Taste is of dough and very light hops. Pours a nice light brown/medium yellow with a brownish white head. Weak carbonation. Overall not a bad beer.

Much cloer to a pilsner in my book. Refreshing on this hot ass day at Eabf. Toasty corn and grain. Grassy hops. Good session

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2014 Very tasty! Pours dark copper/ amber with a small, dense head. Malty aroma with strong caramel, a hint of yeast, burnt sugar, slightly nutty. Flavor is alot of malt, toasty, slightly nutty, Very unique. smooth. sticky and medium bodied. Not alot of co2. One of the best ambers in my opinion.

Bottle. Copper pour, white carbonation. Toasted bread, caramel, earth, cookie, mild bitterness on the finish, which leans drier. Medium body, balanced carbonation, easy. Sessionable amber ale, simple and tasty.

12oz bottle, I forget the date but a fresh sample.

Pours clear light amber with a two finger off white head that leaves nice cobwebs of lacing and holds a small cap.

Aroma is pretty typical for an Amber, a little fruity, a little caramel, a little nutty, some light floral and grassy hops. Good strength.

Flavor is caramel malt, light fruits, light citrus hops, somewhat sweet, moderate bitterness, little to no alcohol.

Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium, a bit oily, medium carbonation.

A solid Amber Ale, but nothing spectacular.

poured into a pint glass on tap. Pours a medium amber color with a small head. nice aromas of malts and some hops. While on the simple side, it is nice with solid depth. Medium bodied with a decent and smooth feel. A bit lacking on the mid with some flavors of malts and blood oranges. A nice brew. Very drinkable and pretty straight forward.

Amber colored pour. Big off-white head. Plenty of lacing. A nice toasted bready aroma. Taste is a big malt forward beer with just a hint of bitter in the end. Very good and drinkable.

New version of a beer that already existed before, apparently. Beautifully warm, deep copper colour, somewhere between orange and red, with some dead yeast bit floating around; medium, yellowish light beige, moussy head retaining well. Pleasant floral aroma of dried orange peel, tulips, pink grapefruit, sundried tomato, hazelnut oil, bourbon without the alcohol, biscuit, caramel, bell pepper, dry cookies, Parmigiano, persimmon, paprika powder, minerals. Taste begins fairly neutral, some dried fruits, restrainedly sweetish, minerally, medium carbonation, subtle sourish accent, nutty malt sweetness reminiscent of an Altbier, leading to a medium long finish of earthy and floral, only slightly citrussy hop bitterness; body is on the thin side even for a beer of this ABV. Still, a decent and refreshing session beer, I could drink this all day.
