(Rating #1378)

Light blond/gold in colour. Yeasty and spicy smell. Tastes sweet like figs with a hint of spice and yeast. Quite nice for a blonde.

This ale poured a very light yellow colour with next to no head, even after a vigorous pour. To the nose it has sweet notes, grassy scent with ripe fruit. First taste is very different. Almost a buttery flavour with a light fruit following. Very slightly over-carbonation gives a little bite to the taste. Almost an oily mouthfeel with the butter flavour lasting. Very Sweet!

Bright honey gold color, with a big fluffy white head, leaving laces, with a floral wet hay nose, with a fruity, cognac oakiness, a sweet honeyed pale malt, and a mild pineau white grapes aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet fruity raisiny, pale malt character, with a honeyed liquorish cognac accent, with a candi sugar sweetness, hint of oakiness, with a candied lemon peel note, and subtle pineau des charentes winey accent, with a nice carbonation, leading towards a sweet honeyed fruity pineau finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Almost clear, pale golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet and spicy nose. Light-bodied, sweet notes of the Pineau liqueur, lightly fruity with a slightly astringent finish. 310807

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, another great session @ Papsoe] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Clear sparkling body with a yellow color. Aroma of fruit, caramel, citrus, hint of butter and some herbal notes as well. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Very sugary sweet flavor. Sweet finish. 31-08-2007

Hazy blond color. Light honeyish aroma. Poor beer flavor with a sweet addition. Useless and quite bad.
