Atlantic Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy copper color with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor of blueberries. Light to medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation.

Brownish -amber beer with thin white head. Small blueberry aroma along with floral hoppiness. Blueberries are only really present in the flavor in the finish, but overal it is a pretty good drink.

An amber color and a white head. A hint of blueberry aroma but also a hop aroma in the background. The blueberry flavor does not overpower and the hop flavor comes through nicely.

Not as good as I had expected, but not terrible. The blueberry flavor seemed somewhat artificial as opposed to real blueberry juice. It resembled a pumpkin ale (only with blueberries instead of pumpkin - duh!)

Blueberry aroma with a light amber body. Sweet blueberry flavor mixed in with hops. Refreshing for a warm summer day.

Figured I wasn’t a true Mainah until I tried some Blueberry beer. Fruit flavored beers haven’t proved to be my favorite but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Pours a clear copper color with a light tan head. Aroma is hoppy with light Blueberry tones. It tastes more like a spiced Blueberry malt than just a fruit flavored light ale. Worth trying, and the best of this type I’ve tried so far

Great aroma. Blueberry flavor not as apparent as in the aroma. Keeps it’s ale character well. Nice feel and finish to it. Not sour like other similar beers.

Reddish orange, with subtle but definite aroma of fresh, natural blueberries. Good balance of flavors between the malty sweetness and the fruit. Clean, tart blueberry finish. Bring on the pancakes!
