Commercial Description:
A light fruit ale, made with Maine wild blueberries. As opposed to many of the sweeter fruit beers on the market, our addition of fresh Maine wild blueberries in this light ale yields a subtle blueberry aroma, without the sweet aftertaste. A mixture of the following Mutton malts, pale, crystal, and Munich, are combined with wheat to give this ale its lighter body, and we only use minimal amounts of Target and Willamette hops.

Very dark golden orange in color with a thick off-white head. Aroma is strong blueberry and wheat. Flavor is grassy with a mild hint of blueberry and pine. Slightly bitter with a very strong metallic aftertaste.

A definite blueberry aroma to this one. Copper colored with a moderate head. The flavor is somewhat sweet/sour with a rather mild blueberry presence. This a well balance thirst quencher if little else. Not bad.

Bottle and draft in Bar Harbor. Very well done fruit beer. The aroma was very heavy on blueberries but the flavour focused on beer more than fruit. What a concept! Really refreshing. Guys, it is okay to drink it.

POurs to a light golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Aroma is not real strong, but is a pleasant blueberry fruity scent. Mouthfeel is relatively thin and slightly carbonated. The flavor was a bit disappointing, as it tasted more like artificial flavoring than true blueberry. All and all, an okay summer cooler, but one better left to the ladies.

12oz bottle courtesy of mother in law. Light blueberry aroma with some sweet malts. Orange body with decent head. Not enough fruit mild blueberry flavor with thick malt and bitterness. Need more fruit and not easy drinkable brew.

Amber pour medium head with some spotty lace. Grains and blueberries on the nose. Blueberry flavor seems forced by using syrup rather then fresh. If that is the case its ashamed since it is made im Maine

I thought this was a good beer, but not a session beer for me. It was better on tap then out of the bottle. it wasnt the best blueberry beer that i have tasted. enjoyable but again, not m favorite in the genre.
