gws57 (1131), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jun 13, 2008 Had this one bottled in a mix pack from World Market in St. Charles, Illinois, thanks Mom and Dad! Hazy, orange-reddish pour with a medium foamy tan head, nice lacing, great, tart nose of blue and strawberries with some baked bread, nuanced flavor of berries, clover honey, spicyness of cinnamon. Light, milky finish. This is a very good beer. closey22 (31), Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA Jun 6, 2008 From start to finsih, this is a world class beer. I have rated many more than 26 beers, but I have only made time to rate 26 online. In other words, I know more about beer than it may appear. TRY THIS ONE!! It has a a pale amber color with a lasting, yet thin, off-white head. The aroma is not blueberry syrup like some other beer of this stle, but of fresh fruit, blended beautifully with some caramel, and slight hop spice notes. Flavor is great. No syrupy sugar sweetness from some other poor quality fruit beers. This is of fresh blueberries again blended with a caramelly, slightly roasted malt/nutty note. Feels a bit light but is smooth yet not flat on the tongue. The finish is of hop bitterness and fresh blueberries NOT BLUEBERRY SYRUP. Another great blueberry beer is at Gilded Otter Brewpub in New Paltz, NY, but only seasonal on tap. This one is bottled. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pepsican (884), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA May 27, 2008 amber pour with a thin off white head. Aroma of perfume and blueberrys. Flavor is grain, blueberry, caramel, and a bit of citrus. Finishes slightly watery. Interesting. kassner (429), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA May 23, 2008 This a nice ale but way too much carbonation. Dark golden color slightly cloudy, nice head, very faint blueberry odor and taste. Nice lemon finish and the beer does much better after standing and the carbonation exhausts. Rciesla (3510), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA May 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with an off white head. Aroma is sweet malt, a hint of blueberry. Flavor has even less of the blueberry taste i had hopped for oh well, nice try. erich2872 (11), Orlando, Florida, USA May 17, 2008 Adherents of the German Purity Law of 1516 will need to avoid as this contains illegal ingredients. I am not a blueberry lover either but I tried this in Bar Harbor Maine and was definitely impressed. Aroma is good and taste is definitely laced with blueberries but not overpowering. A respectable and well suited beer for summer thirsts, smooth and quaffable. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA May 11, 2008 ABV: 5.5%

First Impression: I should start by saying that I don’t like blueberries, but I love most other fruits and berries. I’m a big fan of Belgian styles, and lambics, just not of blueberries. Color is nice, but aroma is off. Reminded of the experiments of Smuttynose Hanami Ale. Aroma is blunt and chemical. Visuals are a beautiful tea body with no head whatsoever. Taste is, in a word, bad. This is hard to finish, much less enjoy. Palate is crisp, dry and short lasting finish, thankfully. Overcarbonated. Second Impression: Very glad I did not buy this, but I’m pretty sure Sean was just clearing out his fridge with this one. It’s pretty, but there are much prettier beers that are simply fantastic to taste.

Overall: 12 out of 20 Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 6, 2008 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Brennan’s Country Farm Market in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazed orange amber with an average off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and thin white ring with some spot lacing. Aroma of morning blueberry pancakes that overpowers any caramel malt or hop character. Taste has a good balance of blueberry and white bread malt with wheat and a touch of grassy hops. Finish is semi-sweet with a mild metallic blueberry aftertaste that quickly disappears.
