This one is for you Josh. Dark amber red, rather translucent. Foamy white head. Nose is sweet caramel malt and fruits. Taste is smooth and crisp. A decent malt profile is mixed with a non cloying and not too sweet blueberry flavor. Not bad.

BlechKKK!!!! Orange color with a soda pop like head. I gave it a 5 for the aroma because the blueberries were presant, but it smelled very lager like. Flavor was terrible... blueberries were only slightly noticable with a medicinal household cleaner like feel. As though someone realized this tasted like crap and tried to cover it up with them. Leaves you wanting a glass of water to take the taste away. Maybe it was a bad bottle, my wife loves the stuff. For me, however, the one I had was bad enuff that I don’t want to try it again.

good balance of blueberry flavor is hinted at by the aroma after opening bottle. not at all a bad fruit beer.

I’m a big fan of Belgian styles, and lambics, just not of blueberries. Color is nice, but aroma is off. Reminded of the experiments of Smuttynose Hanami Ale. Aroma is blunt and chemical. Visuals are a beautiful tea body with no head whatsoever. Taste is, in a word, bad. This is hard to finish, much less enjoy. Palate is crisp, dry and short lasting finish, thankfully. Overcarbonated. Second Impression: Very glad I did not buy this, but I’m pretty sure Sean was just clearing out his fridge with this one. Poured a deep amber with a small head. Smelt like a blueberry muffin. Had light flavors of blueberry and some malt, and was pretty thin. Overall it was a decent beer, and it wasn’t overly sweet like most blueberry beers are. LC

Amber color. 1" head. Pungent blueberry aroma. "Did someone just club me with a 20 pound blueberry?" Must have knocked me silly, b/c I couldn’t taste much at all after the aroma. Somewhat empty citrus flavoring, a little tart. 1-note wonder that abandons all other facets of a good beer as most fruity beers do.

Impressive three-finger head that lasts a long time and recedes in a rocky fashion. Dark amber color and cloudy (with some yeast clusters floating around). Strong sour blueberry aroma. Smells like blueberry pie but made without any sugar. Very sour taste. Were the blueberries unripened? Not very complex. The aftertaste is shortlived. The mouthfeel is okay. Overall, this is a clear miss.

Bottle - from sampler pack. Quite good. Decent blueberry flavor. Not much beer flavor.
